submission guidelines
BRICKrhetoric is now accepting submissions in several literary/visual art genres including: poetry, creative nonfiction, photography, fine art,  persuasive essay and science as art.  Because BRICKrhetoric is a quarterly publication, with four issues published annually in the months of February, May, August and November, submissions are accepted year-round.

Submissions to BRICKrhetoric should be identifiable with the premises of multiculturalism, urban life and/or community action/engagement.  Although this connection does not need to be blatant, it should be an underlying theme in all submissions.

Submissions written in languages other than English are welcome; an English translation by the author should be included.

Submissions should not have been published previously; this includes other online galleries and literary sites (original works published on personal websites will be considered).
